Tardy

Tardy is a first-person Sonic fangame with an emphasis on fast-paced chaos. You play as Nicky as he is running late to his first period class with Mr. Kintobor situated at the other end of the school. Kintobor isn't the patient type, however, and has sent his legion of hall monitors to capture Nicky in advance. It certainly doesn't help that the entire school itself constantly shifts its layout so it is not the same journey for every visit. Reach Kintobor's classroom on time without being caught by his lackeys so you can FINALLY sleep through his boring lectures.

Sliding is Key!

Weighed down by his backpack, Nicky cannot curl up into a ball, let alone jump. However, by holding the Crouch (C/Shift) button while running, he can slide across any surface as if the rules of friction do not apply to him. Utilize the school's verticality to your advantage and any staircase can be treated like a waterslide to give yourself a leg up against unsurmountable odds!

Not Your Average Sonic Game 

Using Sonic's Schoolhouse by BAP Interactive and Orion Interactive as a basis, Tardy is primarily structured after ROBLOX games like Grace by The Fartering Few and Doors by LSPLASH. With few familiar faces and it playing far from most Sonic games in pursuit of a different formula, Tardy is intended to be enjoyed by all regardless of if you are a Sonic fan or not. 

This game is heavily trial-and-error based, however. Expect to be caught A LOT. Do not fret about it though, the goal is always just over the horizon as you recover your flow fairly quickly. Use each loss as an opportunity to learn to perform better on the next attempt.
